Mayax is designed with your privacy in mind. We process all video editing, subtitle generation, and media manipulation entirely on your device. Your content never leaves your phone.
2. Data We Collect
We collect minimal data:
- Subscription status — managed by Apple and RevenueCat to verify Pro access
- Anonymous analytics — basic app usage metrics (no personal data)
- Crash reports — anonymous crash data to improve stability
We do not collect, store, or transmit your photos, videos, audio recordings, or any media content.
3. Camera, Photos & Microphone
Mayax requests access to your camera, photo library, and microphone to enable video editing features. This data is processed locally on your device and is never uploaded to any server.
4. Speech Recognition
Auto subtitle generation uses Apple's on-device speech recognition framework. Audio is processed locally and is not sent to external servers.
