FullApps ("we," "our," or "us") operates the GuessMap: Explore the World application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. Please read this policy carefully. By using GuessMap, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information We Collect
badge Account Information
When you sign up, we collect your email address, display name, avatar (optional), and assign an 8-character friend code. Sign-in is supported with email + password, Sign in with Apple, or Google. Sign in with Apple may use a private relay email address.
sports_score Gameplay Data
We store your game history, round-by-round scores, total XP, current level, country and city completion progress, streaks, and bookmarks against your account so you can continue on any device.
groups Social Data
Friend lists, sent and received friend requests, blocked users, tournament participation, and any text you submit through your display name or tournament fields.
credit_card Subscription Status
In-app purchases (GuessMap Pro) are processed by Apple through the App Store and managed via RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your payment information — only a transaction confirmation that activates your Pro entitlement.
notifications Push Notification Token
If you allow push notifications, we store your Apple Push Notification service (APNs) token so we can deliver friend requests, tournament invites, and round-result alerts. You can revoke this anytime in iOS Settings.
analytics Diagnostic Data
If you opt in via iOS Settings → Privacy → Analytics, Apple may share anonymous crash reports with us. We do not run third-party analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, no Facebook SDK).
Third-Party Services
GuessMap integrates with the following third-party services. Each receives only the minimum data required to provide its function:
apple Apple — Sign in with Apple
Sign in with Apple is provided by Apple. Your authentication is handled directly by Apple and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
login Google — Sign in with Google
If you choose to sign in with Google, authentication is handled by Google and governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
shopping_bag RevenueCat
Used to manage in-app subscriptions (GuessMap Pro). RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase identifiers in accordance with their privacy policy.
map Apple Maps
The map and Look Around imagery you see in-game is provided by Apple Maps. Use of Apple Maps is subject to Apple's Maps terms.
cloud Supabase (FullApps backend)
Account, gameplay and social data live on our self-hosted Supabase instance at guessmapapi.fullapps.co. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on servers operated by FullApps.
What We Do Not Collect
- No real-world location. The map shown in-game is Apple Maps imagery. GuessMap never reads your device GPS or precise location.
- No contacts. Friends are added by 8-character code. We never request or upload your address book.
- No payment data. Apple handles all transactions.
- No advertising trackers. We do not run ad SDKs and we do not sell data to advertisers.
Data Storage & Security
Account, profile and gameplay data are stored on the FullApps backend and transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication tokens are kept in the iOS Keychain on your device. Subscription status is mirrored from Apple via RevenueCat.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Data Sharing & Sales
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with the third-party services described above, solely to provide the App's functionality.
Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. When you tap Profile → Delete Account we immediately remove your profile, game history, friend connections, bookmarks and any other rows tied to your user ID from our database. Subscription records held by RevenueCat are retained per their data retention policies.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data via Profile → Edit Profile
- Delete your data via Profile → Delete Account, or by emailing us
- Withdraw consent for push notifications at any time in iOS Settings

Children's Privacy
GuessMap is suitable for ages 4+ but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
