Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using GuessMap: Explore the World (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

These Terms of Use are supplemental to the Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA") set forth by Apple Inc. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA shall govern.

GuessMap is a city-guessing game in which players are dropped on a hemisphere-wide map and must place a pin where they believe the target city is located. The App offers a free Daily Challenge (the same five cities for every player worldwide, reset every UTC midnight) and a Pro-only Solo Mode (random five-round runs from the full 4,142-city library).

Additional features include a 200-level World Tour with quadratic XP progression, friends and tournaments, curated city info cards, and Apple Maps Look Around imagery. Game content, scoring, and the location library may be updated over time to improve the player experience.

• Sign-up: You can register with email + password, Sign in with Apple, or Google.
• Responsibility: You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for activity on your account.
• Identity: You agree to provide accurate information and to use a non-offensive display name. We may rename or remove inappropriate display names or friend codes.
• Deletion: You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

GuessMap offers a Pro subscription that unlocks Solo Mode, Vibe Check, Themed runs, Multiplayer, all curated packs (Adventures / By Region / By Country / By Difficulty), tournament hosting, and more. Subscriptions are offered as Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime plans where available.

• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase through the App Store.
• Auto-Renewal: Monthly and Yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).
• Price Changes: Subscription prices may change. You will be notified in advance and must agree to the new price to continue your subscription.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store refund policy. Use reportaproblem.apple.com or Apple Support for refund requests.

Free trial periods, if offered, automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless canceled beforehand.

The Daily Challenge serves the same five cities to every player on a given UTC day so scores are directly comparable across the world. To preserve that fairness:

• The Daily Challenge can be played once per UTC day per account, regardless of subscription tier.
• Use of the device clock, jailbreak tools, multiple accounts, or any technique to replay a given day's set is prohibited.
• We reserve the right to remove leaderboard entries, reset stats, or terminate accounts that violate the spirit of fair play.

All virtual items within the App, including XP, levels, country badges, bookmarks, and rank tier titles, are licensed to you and remain the property of FullApps. Virtual items:

• Have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, sold, or transferred between accounts
• May be modified, removed, or rebalanced at our discretion to improve gameplay or fix bugs
• Cannot be refunded independently from the subscription they are part of

Game progress is stored on your account on the FullApps backend. While we take reasonable steps to keep this data safe, we are not responsible for loss of progress due to device changes, account deletion, third-party service outages, or device failure.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities to gain unfair advantages
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to play the game, manipulate scores, or scrape the location dataset
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's services, backend API, or other players' experiences
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other players via display name, friend code, tournament fields, or any other input
• Share or resell your account credentials or subscription access

We reserve the right to remove leaderboard entries and suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms.

The App, including its design, code, graphics, characters, animations, sounds, logos, the curated location library, and city info content created by FullApps, is protected by intellectual property laws and is the exclusive property of FullApps.

Map imagery and Look Around scenes are provided by Apple Maps and are subject to Apple's Maps terms. You may share screenshots and score cards generated by the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

City info cards may be auto-generated and are intended for entertainment — they are not a substitute for verified travel guidance. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FULLAPPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FullApps, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which FullApps operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
